Other errors

These three come up on all of our products, whichever one you are running.

ERROR: Movement Timed Out — restart CXC

Something on your connection is getting in the way. A VPN fixes it. Cloudflare is free and the one we recommend.

  1. 01Install Cloudflare WARP (the 1.1.1.1 app) and switch it on.
  2. 02Close CXC completely, then open it again.

Windows is missing Microsoft components that the loader needs. Install both of these, then restart.

  1. 01Visual C++ Redistributables — install the x64 and the x86 version. Both.
  2. 02DirectX End-User Runtime
  3. 03Restart the PC and open the loader again.

Windows is blocking the driver

  1. 01Turn off Secure Boot in your BIOS. The tool below will not work while Secure Boot is on.
  2. 02Download the tool and run it as Administrator.
  3. 03Restart the PC, then open the loader.
Download the driver policy tool

Not sure about Secure Boot? Press Win + R, type msinfo32, press Enter, and look at the Secure Boot State line. It has to say Off.
