My mouse is not moving

Nine times out of ten this is the USB port or leftover mouse software. Work down the list and stop when it works.

  1. 01Unplug the mouse and plug it into a different USB port. Use a port on the back of the PC, directly on the motherboard — not a hub, not a monitor, not the front panel.
  2. 02Make sure Synapse, G HUB, iCUE and anything like them are uninstalled, not just closed, then restart the PC.
  3. 03Run the mouse fix below and restart the PC once more.
