Three product-specific steps on top of the shared setup. Do all three before you open the loader.

  1. 01Disable your antivirus. Real-time protection off is not enough for the external — the packer trips signature scans on every launch. If you have a third-party AV installed, uninstall it through Add or remove programs and restart the PC.
  2. 02Install Simple Sight (Crosshair Overlay). The external uses it as its render host, so it must be installed from Steam once — you do not need to launch it manually, the loader picks it up on start. Get it from store.steampowered.com/app/3256420.
  3. 03Disable Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling, then reboot. Windows Settings → System → Display → Graphics → Change default graphics settings → toggle Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling off. Restart the PC — the toggle only takes effect after a reboot.
